What does it mean to sit with something?
Sitting with something means allowing yourself to notice what is present without immediately trying to fix, explain, suppress, or change it. You might notice: Mind — recurring thoughts or interpretations. Heart — a feeling that wants acknowledgment. Body — tension, openness, warmth, heaviness, movement, or stillness. Impulse — an urge to fix, defend, explain, withdraw, control, or act. Need or boundary — something asking to be expressed, protected, accepted, or given space. You don’t have to change any of it. Just notice what is here.
